Chris Beckingham has cleverly combined contemporary living spaces, private sleeping quarters and luxurious entertainment areas in this stylish haven by the sea. Utopia was designed to accommodate a large group of people without feeling like you are staying with a large group of people. The layout of Utopia allows for one spacious communal living area, expansive deck with dinning facilities off the pool, then separate private sleeping bungalows. This makes it perfect for sizeable groups, multiple families, wedding parties and corporate guests.

Live

The communal living space at Utopia offers high ceilings, open plan design, internal dining facilities to seat eight comfortably, spacious living room which seats over twelve people and a gourmet kitchen. It is a comfortable yet expansive arrangement allowing for space and light. We also offer a fully functioning office with desktop PC computer, printer, Microsoft Office and Internet connection for your convenience.

Sleep

Utopia has the ability to sleep 10 adults in 5 king-sized bedrooms divided between 3 private bungalows, all with sweeping wooden decks and outstanding views of the Coral Sea. Four bedrooms can be made up to accommodate one king size bed or two singles while one bedroom in Bungalow 2 has two double beds. This allows for some flexibility with sleeping arrangements. All bedrooms have air conditioning and some also have ceiling fans.

Relax

Set on a tropical island, it would be hard not to relax in this utopia. Lounge by the plunge pool and marvel at the beautiful pine trees scattered around the property; sit on the deck and enjoy the stunning views of the Coral Sea and Passage Peak; take a walk down to the viewing deck and watch the sea turtles frolic on the waves; dine on the pool deck at the twelve-seater dining table with beautiful sea breeze; or hang out in the open plan living and dinning room. For the ultimate relaxing experience, take a soak in the Japanese deep bath in a semi-outdoor room with stonewalls and pebbled floor… truly decadent. If you feel like venturing out, you can enjoy some of the islands other facilities including the hotel pools or book yourself in for some relaxation therapy at spa Qualia.

Entertain

If you are more of an entertainer, why not cook up a storm in the Gourmet Kitchen, with the Gaggenau range hood, including a teppanyaki hot plate and inbuilt steamer. Enjoy our complimentary Delonghi coffee as you sit on one of the numerous decks when the sun rises in the morning. For something special, entertain guests on the pool deck with its twelve-seater dinning table with complimentary sea breeze and exceptional views. Alternatively have a BBQ and use the wood fire pizza oven that will delight the kids.
